Concord Language School is located in the hearth of the Serbian capital, just a short walk from the major attractions: Knez Mihailova Street and Belgrade's Old Town, Skadarska Street with its Bohemian quarter, Nikola Tesla's Museum, Saint Sava Cathedral (the biggest Ortodox Cathedral). Apart from your language courses in Belgrade you’ll be able to take part in a show or a musical at a nearby theatre, browse the department stores at Ušće Shopping Mall, and party all night long in one of Belgrade's best bars and clubs.
Lessons
The very first day you will attend a language level test, in order to allow our teachers to form groups.
Each morning (Monday-Friday), after a nice breakfast, you will have 3 hours of lessons. There will be a break in between, where you can relax a bit, have a coffee or surf the Internet with our high-speed wireless connection.
Sightseeing & Culture
Belgrade is going to welcome you in many different ways. In order to have a general introduction of the Serbian capital, you will take part in a sightseeing tour by open top bus.
In addition, 4 half day excursions, walking tours, famous sights and museums will complete your journey.
When in Belgrade, a visit to Nikola Tesla's Museum is a must.
In the very heart of the city there is the Ethnographic Museum that houses a large number of ethnographic items, divided into separate exhibits, along with one of the best equipped professional libraries in the Balkans.
Kalemegdan (Belgrade's Fortress) is a beautiful place full of history and located in the most strategic spot in Belgrade: the confluence of the Danube and the Sava river.
Many are the symbols of the Serbian capital, but the new bridge on Ada lake, Saint Sava Cathedral and the Belgrade Arena are among the main ones.
After a long day, the Bohemian quarter of Skadarlija is the best spot where to enjoy a nice dinner or have fun in a typical Kafana (Serbian restaurant).

During your free time these are the best tips to follow.
Have a walk down Terazije, Knez Mihailova, and the part of Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard in the city centre.
However if you want to find all the main brands and even more at one place - visit Delta City or Ušće, two fairly new and big shopping centres in Belgrade, located across the river in New Belgrade.
Meanwhile if you prefer markets, do not miss the Belgrade's flea market (Buvljak or Otvoreni Trzni Centar - OTC) situated in the New Belgrade. This flea market hosts stands selling everything from bicycles to clothing and shoes and the prices are very low.
As for Belgrade Souvenirs Shopping, there are several places to buy authentic presents and souvenirs in Belgrade.
Sports & Outdoors
You can engage in various sports in Belgrade.
Whether you are only getting into shape or are already a sports wiz, all you need to do is select the activity you enjoy most. There are 16 sports centres, 7 sports halls, 7 stadiums and 6 swimming pools in the city.
Belgrade has a hippodrome and a modern and expansive golf course on Ada Ciganlija. Several sports manifestations are held each year in Belgrade – Belgrade Marathon, Car races on Ušće, the Politika Race, Race through History, “Tour de Danube” bicycle race, Sport fest, ATP tournaments.
Excursions
Half day excursions and full day excursions are part of Belgrade Summer School. During the week, after lunch, half day excursions are organized. They can be walking tours, visit to museums, shopping and much more.
During weekends (Saturday and Sunday) there will be no lessons in the morning, and the time will be dedicated to full day excursions or free time (according to your needs and wishes).
The typical full day excursion is to Topola , Oplenac (famous city with the mausoleum of the Karađorđević family) and Aranđelovac (one of the main spa areas in Serbia).
Entertainment & Nightlife
If during the day Belgraders enjoy cafés and bars, it's also true that every evening clubs and discos are always crowded, that's why the vibrant and ever-changing nightlife is something not to be missed when visiting Belgrade!
Recently Belgrade has been proclaimed Europe's best nightlife city by The Times and CNN, boasting cheap drinks and accommodation in comparison to the rest of Europe.

The number of clubs is growing daily, as the number of music and DJ stars which come to Belgrade. Their music ranges from alternative to reggae, from techno to heavy metal, brass bands, hip-hop, RandB, gypsy music and turbo folk.
The centre of nightlife takes place on floating river clubs anchored along the Danube and Sava. Another fashionable clubbing area is Ada Ciganlija. During the summer the Makiš side of Ada Ciganlija Lake is the centre of the Belgrade’s nightlife.
Other interesting spot is inside the walls of the Kalemegdan Fortress. Moreover, Strahinjića Bana street is a unique fun zone: twenty cafes, restaurants and bars, always filled with loud and cheerful Belgraders.
